To say this book is beautifully written, is an understatement. It is gorgeous and calm and heartwarming while at the same time stubborn, sad and sometimes cruel.

This was excellent - medieval horror with grimdark fantasy-ish vibes.
You get gore, the most grueling creatures, all horrible descriptions of medieval illnesses and more.

Morning Womble. I was about to start "Between two fires" by Christopher Buehlman. Turns out the book I bought must be a misprint because although the cover says Between two fires, the content inside is another book - never happened to me before 😅
I chose to read "Don't let the forest in" instead
