I’m not a physicist, but I know what matters.
I just spent three hours mowing my overgrown yard, which shows how bad of shape my two gardens are. Overgrown themselves with rotting vegetables. I still have to mow the road frontage and around my pond. I am overwhelmed and feel like it’s all hopeless. Just maintaining is exhausting.
Today I learned how the sausage is made. It’s a lot of work. 5 lbs of Jalapeño Cheddar Brats 5 lbs of Polish Sausage 1.5 lbs of Breakfast Sausage
My 10 year old has discovered cards! Unfortunately they are Pokémon cards. I told this to my therapist the other day… “I wanted a child like me, so I could be the Dad I wanted.” Life doesn’t work that way.
LORD STANLEY is doing well and now shares a flat with Hank the Teeswater ram.
I’ve learned that Serrano peppers from my garden are excellent in my beer. Try it!
An autographed Ted Williams card of him fishing care of @gritz.bsky.social My Dad’s favorite player and my two main hobbies, fishing and cards. Now if they only made gardening cards for the hobby trifecta.
My 10 year old shells peanuts on the back porch like he’s in left field bleachers at Jack Murphy Stadium.
Cut the beef and LORD HAMMERCY. Pork is on to hour two wrapped in parchment paper to trap the moisture.
Beef roasts are resting in the oven. ROUND TWO - PORK LOINS WITH UNCLE DOC’S SMOKED CHIPOTLE BROWN SUGAR RUB.
Smoker just hit 250F and the first round of meats is on. Tri-Tip roast with SPGC rub. Sirloin roast with The Real Deal. I’m leaving them in the parchment paper to capture the juices and keep the meat moist.
I have a pretty good cigar smoking spot when it’s 100 degrees. Long live The Swamp.
