"i can't believe that one egg was 40 eggs"

devastating. beautiful. a sorrowful song from the watery depths of the subconscious. one soul cracked in two. the inability to integrate the traumatized child within. one hand avoids; the other destroys. the martyring of the self. what is more painful: to give up all hope, or to hold on to hope?

4k restoration a privilege to see. soul-wrenching to hear on a theatrical sound system. shout out to the guy who yelled "absolute cinema!" moments after the credits rolled. it was like hearing a letterboxd review in real life.
