🌎 Coordinated UN support can help strengthen #FoodSystems transformation. 🤝 In the #DominicanRepublic, the #SDG Fund Joint Programme, the Resident Coordinator's Office, SETESSAN, FAO, WFP and the #FoodSystems Hub discussed implementation and lessons that can inform work across the region.
The #DominicanRepublic is bringing together work on governance, climate resilience, monitoring and investment through its #FoodSystems agenda. 🤝 The #FoodSystems Hub met with the Minister of Agriculture & National Convenor to discuss how these efforts can support national priorities.

🌾 Honduras' food systems priorities, including the Hunger Zero initiative, were the focus of discussions between Carlos Watson of the #FoodSystems Hub & H.E. Moisés Molina, Minister of Agriculture & National Food Systems Convenor. 🤝 They also explored governance, investment & climate resilience.

🌎 Latin America and Caribbean countries are increasingly focused on implementation, investment & scaling what works. 🤝 The #FoodSystems Hub met with regional partners from IICA & SUN Movement to discuss technical cooperation, investment readiness & support for country-led food systems priorities.
🌎 Food systems work requires coordination across institutions. 🤝 In Panama, colleagues from the UN LAC Food Systems Task Force, DCO, the UN Resident Coordinator's Office, FAO & the #FoodSystems Hub met to discuss how the UN system can best support country priorities ahead of #UNFSS2026 and beyond.
Carlos Watson, Director a.i. of the #FoodSystems Hub, met with Panama's National Project Coordinator of Rural Development, Edgar Serrano. 🌱 The conversation explored family farming, school feeding, digital innovation and climate resilience in Panama.
📊 How can data and technology strengthen #FoodSystems decision-making? 📌 On 17 June, the UN Food Systems Coordination Hub convened a Food Systems Solutions Dialogue to explore how countries are using data platforms and early warning systems to inform policy and strengthen accountability.
🎙️ At #SB64, the Hub's Khaled Eltaweel highlighted the strong synergy between PAS-COACT & the #FoodSystems Hub’s Convergence Initiative. 🌱 The Initiative is supporting 26 countries and regions in advancing policy coherence across food systems, #ClimateAction, biodiversity & development priorities.
At #SB64, Tobie Ondoa Manga highlighted the importance of aligning global food systems commitments with the #CAADP agenda and national priorities. 🌱 He pointed to the Hub’s Convergence Initiative as a practical model for coordinated, country-led action across #FoodSystems and #ClimateAction.
At #SB64, Elisabetta Recine, President of Brazil’s National Council for Food & Nutrition Security, highlighted the growing recognition of #FoodSystems within the climate agenda following #COP30. 🌱 More coherent policies can help connect food security, nutrition, #ClimateAction & biodiversity goals.
At #SB64, #COP30 President Ambassador André Corrêa do Lago reflected on connecting global climate processes with action on the ground. PAS-COACT builds on the momentum of #COP30 in Brazil, helping place #FoodSystems at the heart of #ClimateAction through stronger policy coherence. 🌱🤝
