Very recent widow. Chordoma cancer patient. Weenie dog costumer. Aspiring senior citizen pole dancer. Bad ass bookworm. Black belt tightwad. Repository of cheap recipes. No DMs. Resist reposting. It's creepy to see it reposted. No OnlyFans.
Feria was not kidding about their high intensity hair color. It is very copper. But i know it will fade after a few shampoos. Until then, reminds me of 16th century artwork by Titian. Or Jessica Rabbit.
I've been craving the taste of coffee but I want to avoid acid reflux. So, I sometimes make a herbal coffee. This one has chicory. It gives me the taste. Decaf is still too acidic for me.
Dabbling in sound therapy. Played it all day long at different frequencies. I will let you all know if my chakras realign or negative energy dissipates or I am enlightened. The dogs are mellower. I slept a little better with singing bowls. It's pseudoscience most likely.
Bought one of these for when I'm mowing. Maybe not just for mowing. I can see wearing one of these to keep the thermostat at a more affordable temp or while I'm outside grilling. I passed on the fan hat that has a place for an ice pack inside.
MAGA be all made about the memes of Trump posing as Jesus. I think Barrack doesn't look half bad here.
At a standstill on my shed organization project until I can get some heavy items moved and until I can order a wall hung rack for garden tools. The walk-in closet project, I need to find a new home for his bed and get some furniture moving help. Figured out the artwork for the dressing room
I have dachshunds and they have matching outfits. Dogs in clothing may be twee but it puts a smile on my face.
Still not limoncello but I ate a whole pint of this in one sitting a few weeks ago. I suppose I could let this soften a little, stir in the limoncello and let it refreeze. PS, those little sugar chunks in this are really tasty.
I don't mind ironing. What I mind is fabrics that don't breathe. Polyester doesn't feel good against my skin. I do have my eye on a garment steamer that has a built in ironing board.
Fall is the best time to prune a lilac bush, as I learned trying to prune on right after it bloomed. I killed it. This is what I bought. It did a good job cutting vines growing up the maple tree.
What's nice about the internet. If I need to learn something, like how to install the leaf catcher on my John Deere D25 mower, there is a helpful video to help. I want to suck up gum balls. Make them all go away. Avoid rakes. These things are terrible.
The new battery operated pruning shears work well. Does not eliminate bending over though. I saw mini chainsaws that come with a pole but chain saws are scary. I would want some lessons before I used one of these.
This went on my wish list. It's a hydraulic lift table. The female clerk at Harbor Freight was about the only person doing any work today and she used this to take the wagon out to my car. The two guys loafed. Pumped it up so the table top was level with the floor of the hatch in my Nissan.
Sigh! I just found three big totes full of broken tiles that the hubs saved. I have no use for it so it needs to find a new home. The good news is I have plenty of stainless steel shelving out there to convert into a free standing closet. I also have casters so these will roll.
In a happier state of mind today. I had an inspiration about a closet. Storage projects make me happy. I can and I will have a girly girl dressing room next to the bathroom. I also have enough floral fabric to wallpaper over that painted paneling. Use starch as the paste.
Netflix recommendation. June Squibb is outstanding in a leading role.
Thinking a section of pegboard for keeping hair accessories orderly. I may have more scrunchies that RBG. If I can find one again, a dressing table so I can sit down to to do hair care.
Nobody needs me to be somewhere to do something today. Hooray! That creates some ME time. My self care project of the day is clean sheets, a deep conditioning treatment and picking out some pretty dresses to iron so the next time I have to be out, I feel confident.
She's gone now but she loved wearing her pearls to go bye-bye.
It may be getting close to switching to percale sheets and putting flannel away for the summer. Some poor woman spent her life stitching and her son sold all this to me for less than a buck a pound. I'll cherish what he could not.
That's a recliner I'd like to have in my life. Enough room for the dogs. Who would promptly tear it up and take it over. Sorry, babies but your daybed with the cheap $99 mattress will have to do for now.
It would have been great weather to fly a kite today. Haven't done that in a very very long time and maybe I need to. Dollar Tree has them. All licensed cartoon characters. Maybe this is more like it.
