I’ve used one of these generic basic ones since I started recording stuff and it’s been just fine! Keeps the pops and plosives minimal. In a pinch I’ve even used a sock so I usually keep it simple and cheap!

Heard the hype around Mixtape, wanted to go find out more about it to see if it’s something I would enjoy and man, REALLY glad to see people being so normal and chill about this game.
Champ squad. Revisiting Kanto and Gen 1 after so many years was like going back home to where you grew up. I knew the streets, the inhabitants, and still remembered all the secrets. I don’t think it’s quite possible to describe the feeling unless you were there when it happened.
Okay I did the thing. I really tried to not reuse games otherwise most of these would be Kingdom Hearts or FF9 😅

I’m playing every Final Fantasy game this year back to back to back in 2026 and I made my way through the first one this week. It is the Pixel Remaster version so I know it’s not the original but that’s what is most convenient. Excited to talk about this one and dive into FF2!
The second game I finished up do 2026 is Mario Kart World. It’s a well made game, it plays like a Mario Kart should and even tries some new gimmicks to set itself apart from its predecessor which I can’t help but compare it to.
