Third game of the year finished. Robocop versus Terminator on Sega Mega-Drive/Genesis. It was easier than I remembered, but I had to save scum some parts that were genuinely nails. There's not much replay value, but it was at least a couple of hours of fun
I swear football's going to give me a heart attack one day. First game of the new Premiership season. A seven goal thriller on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Couldn't ask for more
I've been playing X-Men Legends 2: Rise of Apocalypse. It's so good. Like, really, really good—well worth dusting off my PS2 for it. It's still early, but I'm already enjoying playing around with team dynamics. The story is surprisingly strong too
A friend from the US sent me a "welcome to the board game hobby" package. One of the nicest things anyone has done for me. I'm so grateful for good friends
I finished Cool Spot (Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, 1993), emulated on a modded PSP. I had a lot of fun with this. It's a straightforward platformer. No bosses. Just 11 levels of collecting spots to free your spot bro and progress. Very chill game. Would play again
I don't think I shared the games I completed in 2025. It was a pretty quiet year with only 13 games, compared to 45 the year before. I'm currently on 1 completion (Portal) for 2026, so could do with pulling my finger out

The Twilight Zone 1x08 Time Enough at Last Starring Burgess Meredith, who played The Penguin in the 1960s Batman show, and boxing trainer Mickey in the Rocky films. This episode is also the source of the time enough at last/that's not fair meme

Planted some Honeysuckle today. Dutch and Gold Flame to cover a fence with fragrant and colourful flowers. They're only 9cm pots, but I'm hoping they look as vibrant as these pics one day
