Recently me & my daughter, @theartisticdragon.bsky.social, have been taught how to catch pigeons to remove stringfoot. There’s an art to the catch that we haven’t got down yet but we’re learning. Today we helped this one with a very bad case. We removed the string & hair, now he won’t lose his toes!

I’m planning something very silly 🏴‍☠️🐙

Basic sketch of an octopus in a tiny pirate ship. She has a hat, eyepatch and hook on one limb. She holds a cutlass and a compass. There is an anchor on the ship’s side. The ship has three sails gradually getting smaller the higher they go. The largest sail has an octopus picture, the middle has crossed bones, the top has a fish.

Here’s your froglet of the day. This little guy is very small and has a slightly deformed front leg but he’s just as mobile as the others and seems to be doing just fine. We had a deformed adult return for years so it doesn’t always hold them back 😁 #nature #wildlife #frogs #pond #life

This week I had some clear test results, chatted with my dear friend in Japan, and made friends with a tiny frog. I also ate the first broad beans from the garden. Tomorrow is my son’s birthday and it is meant to rain, we shall be dancing in it in our underpants, well, I will anyway 😁

I love this time of year ♥️ Many years ago my Nan died in the Spring, we were devastated but I am always grateful that it was Spring. She left us at a time when there was so much to see, so much to distract us, everything blooming and springing to life. I miss her dearly and think of her everyday ♥️
