I realize that I'm very late to the party in commenting on this, but I can't stop thinking about how making Matilda be into Austen instead of Kipling recharacterizes her. Even as a tween I knew Matilda was a literary sicko. Austen is almost stereotypical for a little girl, aside from reading level.
My daughter made up a bad cat called Katapoda. Katapoda was a bad cat who could not be reformed and had to be killed. She likes to hear stories about bad things Katapoda used to do, followed by reassurances that those things will not happen anymore now that Katapoda is dead.
I genuinely believe that the phasing out of touchpads with buttons at the bottom reduced my productivity as a copy and paste maestro by at least a third.

I have not a clue who to credit for the Dadow arc, and even for the Dadow design, which copies and pastes Shadow's hair spikes into a mullet. Impossible-to-credit strips like these are the main reason I've been reluctant to compile the old stuff into a book.
Trivia: The wheelchairs/bodies in this strip are copied from the Dadow art from the short lived art "upgrade" from 2009. The legs are crumpled because they came after an arc where Dadow broke his legs. He made no canon appearance in the wheelchair, and was next seen with a robot body.
Seems like a good time to mention that if you see a copy of this book anywhere, I want to acquire one if I can get it without supporting the author. I really want to read it.
