There's no clinical evidence this stuff works, but I was persuaded to buy it by a sports massage therapist and my levels of muscle soreness are SO much lower now. And it smells bloody lovely. Take that as a recommendation! (Currently on 3 for 2 at Boots!)

I want to post openly, and honestly, about stress in the workplace in higher education. I mean, how am I supposed to cope with this?

One of those commercial toilet roll holders where it's a big round plastic container and the bog roll comes out of a tiny hole in the middle. Every time you pull off a piece of paper you're terrified that it will tear inside the container and you'd be bog-roll-less. In this photo, the tiniest of slivers of bog-roll is peeking out of the hole. A true emergency toilet situation.

These Cream and Anatolian Pistachio Nuii ice creams look horrific, but thankfully taste delicious

A chocolate covered ice cream with a wooden stick. The white chocolate is an odd shade of cream which has an unpalatable yellow hue. Chopped pistachio nuts are embedded in the chocolate, and the mix of white, green and brown makes it look like it's covered in oozing pustules
