Librarian SMH
@usedtobeshelver
St Louis boomerang. Public librarian. Mom. Full of Muppet-y joy and chaos.
Look at me! I didn’t do too bad. Didn’t get the runner up right, and was off by 4 feet on the longest shot. (Jordan also didn’t have the most total because he stopped hitting when he won in the semis, where Schwarber had to get a few more to move on. Details.)
Poor Artie! Hope all is well after the vet saw him! (We also have an Artie! We tried to foster him in December and he just moved in permanently.)
Loved all of those Keifers in the Grand Hall. This figure in Anselm fuit hic was my favorite, though.
Answer two is Monster by REM. Made sure to go to the record store with my best friend and buy it THE DAY it came out. Played it nonstop until I knew every note and breath.
This was really hard because I have two answers. But this was, and still is, the album I play all the way up and belt out the words, no matter who can hear me.
One of the priests at the March at Selma was my grandpa’s cousin, who would go on to be a bishop. This is the kind of Catholic I was raised to be and I’m thankful that Leo agrees with me. (But it’s still hard going to Mass with the MAGA assholes.)
If anyone is still on Twitter, can you tell FanDuel that their feed sucks and I can’t see shit?
I have refused to update my Twitter app since it changed to X. I even refused to uninstall it to keep the little blue bird icon as a flipped bird to Musk. Today my phone stopped asking me to update it. I WIN.
Got two brand new history books just in time for St Patrick’s Day. (Why do they always have to come in at the same time, though?)
This sweet boy is covered in snow after two minutes outside. I have a bad feeling about in-person school tomorrow.
Otto and I neither trust nor respect people who think dogs are stupid.
I prefer Jeff’s but mine seems more likely, as a movie about someone being fired for telling the truth about government action.
Ok, so it’s not going to be a white Christmas, but at least we get to see Rudolph this Christmas Eve!
Good news! They found my package. In Boise. Womp womp. So it’s gone from 3.5 hrs away in KC to 23 hours away. WTG, USPS!
This is my super dog Otto. Super handsome, super sweet, super good company, and super OLD. He’s 18, and aside from being mostly deaf and a little stiff, he’s in great shape.
