Ret. LEO annoying hypocritical narrow minded self-righteous zealots, cultists & certain CEOs. Rescues homeless cats.
Thanks to the smoke, this is a view of the sun at 5:30pm in Western Pennsylvania on July 17, 2026.
I was lucky with all my homeless rescues: Priss, Bruce, Oreo, and Honey.
He was. I miss him not sitting in my desk chair in the morning waiting for me so he could lay on my lap. Kidney failure eventually took him. Not bad considering he was at least 17.
Hate to brag, but when my Oreo needed to take a daily pill for his kidneys, he would just take it out of my hand, no fuss, no muss. He was the exception. A good boy until the end.
The cats I have were all homeless. My most recent addition is Honey who someone dumped out of their car near my house on July 14, 2023. She's taken quit well to the spoiled life.
This is Honey. I rescued her after someone dumped her out of a car near my house on July 14, 2023. The first picture is that night her hiding in the basement. The second relaxing with one of her favorite toys in the living room.
82 years ago this date, June 6, 1944. They fought to set the world free of fascism. Let's not forget their sacrifice.
BREAKING: Banjo player has declined an invitation to perform at Freedom 250.
I did the same thing with Oreo who was 17, stone cold deaf, had 3 teeth, a little thin, always seemed cold, and suffering from kidney problems. While he got around okay and was always full of hugs, I knew his time was short. And when the time did arrive, it was too soon.
Still have decided if Honey is nuts or not, but she does love looking out the window and making evil faces at birds.
He was a sweet heart. Every morning, after his treat, he waited for me on my desk chair to lay on my lap. We had a routine which started because Bruce, my first homeless rescue, would compete for the seat. It's little things like that I miss the most.
Vietnam veteran, Purple Heart & Bronze Star recipient who worked in public service over 40 years, and married 60 years to the same woman versus Vietnam draft dodger, convicted sexual predator and alleged pedophile, 3 times divorced, cheated on all wives, etc, etc, etc.
Just had a day and a half power failure and the house got down to 59°F. Honey did her best to keep warm: first the back, then the front. Me, I was wearing a coat.
I lost one of my homeless rescues last Thursday due to kidney failure. You have my deepest condolences.
