Valence The Voyager
@valencethevoyager
She/Her || Enemy of Entropy || Art by @kuroronin.bsky.social Trapped in a world she never made, Valence fights valiantly to stem the relentless tide of entropy by finding off-beat indie games and reading the most maligned medium of them all, comics.
Remember when I was a diving themed superhero? Well I've got a crime to solve on a submarine, the most Diver Superhero thing you can do! Thanks to SFB Games for giving me a key to this very on brand game! But that does make them suckers, this was on my wishlist anyway. twitch.tv/valencethevoyager
It's time for Burden Street Station, a game that asks the big question. Where is this God person anyway? twitch.tv/valencethevoyager
Somewhere there's a nuclear reactor with a mystery in it's core, somewhere there's druids rising from their castle, and somewhere else a Twitch stream starts. Come on Chat, we've got work to do! twitch.tv/valencethevoyager
Every superhero finds themselves wrapped up in a half baked medieval fantasy elseworld eventually. At least The Editors gave me decent armour and not the Red Sonja special. #VoyagerVisions from @kuroronin.bsky.social
Somehow I wound up with an obligation to stream Zelda 2. Please come help me navigate Zelda 2, I fear it's mysteries may confound me. twitch.tv/valencethevoyager
Somewhere around here. I gotta be more of a character to boldly claim Superego for a Superhero...
"Hey Valence, where have you been?" Elsewhere, but it's time to check out. twitch.tv/valencethevoyager
Feel free to use me as a model for whatever type of outfit you feel like.
It's such a shame when one story in an anthology is a real standout. What am I going to do? Tell people to hunt down Vertigo Quarterly SFX POP! just for the 8 pages of Trans Mermaid Power Fantasy in Something In The Water by Laurie Penny & Brett Parson? Absolutely not, but look at these mermaids!
Here's me and some other freaks I think you should draw
Obviously missing here is Anthology of the Killer, but despite the relatively low number of reviews I repost BB art all the time. If you don't know by now that I think you should play Anthology of the Killer that's on you.
Look at these lovely emotes Charlie made for me, wouldn't you like to be so positive about stuff?
And of course you'd never be crazy enough to release a comic about Watchmen!
The Cosmic Code Authority had some problems with my original dialogue, but this still sounds fun don't you think? #VoyagerVisions from @arugiblues.bsky.social
I hope you enjoy your oatmeal but I did get this image beamed into my mind from God.
For body horror being "used for good", Orla! By John Lees & Sally Cantirino. For body horror being used for horror, Metal Hurlant The Monster Within. For Body Horror & Horrific Science, Stone Island by Ian Edginton & Simon Davis. For Eldritch Sci-Fi, Brink by Dan Abnett & INJ Culbard.
I think this little freak would love a 1950s style malted milkshake.
On a technicality this is a FCBD haul because that's why I was in the shops but all the actual FCBD issues sort of filled me with exestential despair. So I went into a charity shop and bought Chris Claremont's novels.
The only moderately successful western Magical Girl Comic I can think of that has a unique aesthetic rather than being downstream of Japanese design. But also I guess most superheroes have some sort of Henshin... Superman's Henshin Device is a phone booth.
This is the first image that comes to my mind when someone asks for a "Cool Image". Does this help?
I was going to make some sort of follow up Magic The Gathering joke but I saw this card and got really mad that anyone is still buying this shit.
The closest I can think of might be the Giant-Size anniversary specials where they put Kamala into old events to get people on board for her Krakoan ressurection.
Tired of being a person? Well who isn't! But good news, by clicking this link, you could be just like these lizards. twitch.tv/valencethevoyager
I always thought of myself as more of a zoner but maybe I'm allowed a command grab to make sure people stay in my zone.
