We seem to have settled into a routine. She disappears for hours on end, then returns. Lies purring upside down while I pull out from her coat all the leaves, seeds and burrs. Then off out she goes again. Rinse and repeat. #MaineCoon
Gazing at the house martins noisily coming and going. Two more weeks of house arrest until the fitter comes to alter the uPVC back door in this new house of ours and install her pet door in it. #mainecoon
Beware. She’s glaring at me. We had a de-matting session yesterday and evidently I’m not yet forgiven.

Well, OH ended up calling out a mobile tyre fitter who had all the gear and idea, & the right tyre, & was happy to drive to middle of nowhere on a Saturday evening. £260😳 but fixed for her😊

Ruby died peacefully in her sleep early today. She was 12. We’ve buried her in the raspberry patch that was her favourite snoozing place outside. I keep crying and feel so very, very sad. I feel as if I have lost my shadow. I hope somehow I will meet her again one day. RIP gorgeous, red cat xx

Vet rather serious. Has kept her in and is going to operate tomorrow to sort it out. Poor grey cat😿
Grey cat 💕😻 has not had a good April so far. But the vet gave her the all clear yesterday after her eye surgery recovery. She is SO pleased not to have to wear that horrid protective collar and be confined to the house any more.
