Today's concert Dvorak cello concerto and Tchaikovsky's 4th symphony, performed by the Janacek Philharmonic.
It never fails - I go out to buy two things and can barely fit the groceries in my bag. Luckily, it has dedicated tofu and xao hsing pockets!
I'm walking in my neighborhoor at around 12:30 last week Tuesday night, turn this corner, and come across a couple having loud and admirably enthusiastic sex. Not sure what the proper Amsterdam response is - ignore them? acknowlege them? encourage the fella with a firm, encouraging slap on the ass?
Today's gig - double concert in Zuid Limburg, playing at the triple border tomorrow, then Sunday in Aachen!
Tired: sending your partner dick pics Wired: sending your partner 17th century cetacean dick pics Just received from my wife's business trip to Zierikzee:
May have fallen on my ass on the way down from the ski jump in Oslo, but this is the most artistic mud print I've ever seen as a result. Just hope my knee isn't 200% bigger tomorrow!

Nasi Kuning, Tunis Jamur Kemangi, Tunis Bayam, Tempeh Orek, Telor Kuning. Mostly from the excellent cookbook Vega Blauw.
Although the St Antoniespoort had already been converted into the Waag (a weighing house) 50 years earlier, I'm guessing it was still called that. I think the view is from the east and they're walking along what now is the Koningstraat. You'd have turned left just inside the gate to visit Rembrandt.
I've been reading so much lately that I've had to upgrade my reading chair with a new headrest. #proofofcat
I mean, if we're doing takes on the Girl, I can't not be a wife guy.
Neat art at the Firestone Library at Princeton - I thought at first it was an actual card catalog....
Apparently, Georges Seurat never saw an actual #trombone. (Circus Sideshow, at the Met)
There was coincidentally a Friends of the Mauritshuis event coincidentally about an hour after our train got into Penn Station, so we of course had to go. Had a nice time chatting with Abbie's colleagues, and got to meet Simon Schama!
When you're a retriever but there are no ducks in your vegetarian household. Maggie is never without a shoe, and always makes sure she shows it to everyone in the house.
Visiting my parents at their retirement community and found this on the floor. SOMEONE is perpetuating the stereotype.
I love our cats but sometimes it's nice to visit my sister in the States and get away from all the animal hair...
Spent ten minutes lint rolling my suit in the hallway lady night and it was somehow already covered in hair by the time I got to the gig. #proofofcat
