LET'S FUCKIN GOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! TRAINS! TRAINS! TRAINS! TRAINS! Also, Transport Scotland, it's embarrassing that you're still on X the everything app and I had to yank this graphic from a different platform
If you need an excuse to donate blood, ScotBlood still have some special stickers from the World Cup
Very excited, yet I can't help but think that as a dual citizen it would be really handy for me if these were still burgundy, just a different colour than the US really
I'm officially a British citizen now! I have been welcomed into the country by the maniacal grin of the Home Secretary
Yes and, parks where it's safe to have a barbecue should have little grills and picnic tables like they have in America, because people getting together for little barbecues on nice days is a nice use of public green space
So apparently a lot of Europeans visiting America have fallen in love with ranch dressing, so I'm gonna do you a solid This recipe is pretty strong, so you might want to add as much as twice the buttermilk and mayo, just keep it equal parts Buttermilk (or sour cream) and mayonnaise
I left her for about 32 hours so now she's declared it illegal for her to be any more than three feet away at all times
I made a glow in the dark Kaweco Sport in the pen press. Extremely delightful
I made the mistake of telling the American tourists on the train to Inverness I'm knitting kilt hose (they asked) and they're so charmed they want to engage me in conversation. I have been informed I'm "a lot easier to understand than the other Scottish people they've met". Yeah babe I'm from Tacoma
Has Kemi Badenoch ever been right about anything? What I want to talk about is her fake work jacket that says "Kemi". Feels in the same mood as Rishi pumping a Sainsbury's employee's petrol.
The face of a cat who had to wake us up screaming at 3:30 because a seagull was taunting her outside the window
There used to be a pigeon that sat out on my window ledge and tormented my cat. Of course she wouldn't know what to do if I had opened the window for her.
Got a new sewing machine today!!! This will be the first time I've had a seeing machine younger than myself. It's very exciting
Not beating the "Labour only cares about the central belt" accusations I see. I mean last time I had to get a train from Glasgow to Edinburgh there were four express services an hour, and more that stopped along the way and during rush hour. Meanwhile most of Aberdeenshire has no train service
I went on a bike ride this morning and noticed this mural. According to the placard it reads "Bear Witness that I am Free and Alive" which seems oddly appropriate for Passover. Next year in a liberated Jerusalem
I think it's right that I couldn't take a photo of this painting of a sullen baby girl dragging her black cat around without also getting my reflection. She is me and I am her and we are All together. (If you visit Amsterdam I recommend the KattenKabinet cat museum)
The fact that the herbal tea is super nice and comes with a Stroopwafel helps
