The telegraph has a running campaign against working from home, but this absolutely takes the biscuit! (My father takes the telegraph despite our best efforts to persuade him otherwise)
I think it’s to do with the cotton. The Yarn needed for the original is a wool/Mohair mix held together with a mohair lace so it’s really soft and fluffy. I’m currently knitting something for my daughter in that combo and it’s lovely. 5MM needles will make it very drapy! The photo is 4 mm needles
Celebrating Easter with our now traditional Easter Egg Nest Cake courtesy of @nigella.bsky.social - it was a toss up between this and her Simnel Cake which is equally delicious, but the chocolate won. Happy Easter.
It was amazing! More than 700 people. Some stallholders sold out by 11. Really buzzy. The gorgeous weather helped!

Finished my Halibut Sweater tonight. Knitted in West Yorkshire Spinners The Croft DK (Shetland wool). It seems my 20 year old wants it. Call me a bad mother but I need it as a sample in the shop. 🧶
