Alright it's your evening update. Not much has changed since the last notice. Bertha is further along headed west and expected to begin to weaken sometime tomorrow. The main concern for folks along The Gulf is flooding due to storm surge. Bertha may only be a Tropical Storm but she's a big bitch. 😬

Good late afternoon/early evening or whatever. Tropical Storm Bertha is gaining some strength & is looking kinda donut like. 😬 Pedictions are still keeping it at a tropical storm before it hits landfall though. 🤞🏾 As of the 5pm update winds are currently @ 60mph & moving NW @ 6mph.

Good morning. Tropical Storm Bertha is official. As of the 5am update she is moving NW @ 5mph with winds holding at 50mph. Currently no real signs of an eye trying to form. Things change fast though. Looks like it's just going to be a nasty rainy mess for the Northern Gulf Coast.

Hurricane Season Update 6/17: Officially the first named storm of the year. Tropical Storm Arthur. 40 miles ENE of Port OConnor Texas & 190 miles WSW of Lake Charles Louisiana. Winds at 40 mph heading NE at 9 mph. Flood watch/warnings still in effect and have been extended.

Hurricane Season Update: First storm of the season is out there causing problems for Texas & Louisiana. 15 miles SSE of Corpus Christi Texas & 300 miles SW of Lake Charles Louisiana. Moving NE at 6 mph w/ winds at 30 mph. Lots of flooding for both states. Unsure if this will be named Arthur.

4 way lug wrench ( a solid heavy one) and a real jack (they do make small ones). Please invest (they aren't expensive) in these. Do not depend on the trash they put in cars now. Especially those without a lot of upper body strength. That wrench you can stand on to loosen lug nuts.
