People with chronic illness and/or disabilities are often left to fend for ourselves when it comes to practical items that help us manage our day-to-day lives. If you could benefit from something but cost is a barrier, I welcome you to apply for a gift or microgrant through C4S: rebrand.ly/spoonies
My son and I go to a music festival every year, and we always do an interactive activity at our campsite for passersby. This year we did a mini "art and affirmations" gallery and left out a bucket of markers and paper so people could make and trade art. These are some of the drawings we got!
If you've never read MN Conservation Volunteer you're missing out, they have some really lovely stories and photography. In related news, I'm now in love with tardigrades and will be making it my personality for the next week or two at least www.dnr.state.mn.us/mcvmagazine/...
Free watch party at CHS tonight, gorgeous evening, strangers high fiving, tons of kids playing. I love it here
I dumped out the previous collection of open beverages on friday. This kid is a menace
Does anyone have a copy of Dungeon Crawler Carl I could borrow? Just asking before I buy one. Library and Libby aren't lookin so good 😅
South St Paul Pride was fun and totally manageable sensory-wise. Unexpected highlight was telling my 9yo he could pick out a sticker to buy and he chose this one
Staying up late tonight to finish What We Fed to the Manticore. It is a book of 9 short stories written from the perspective of different animals. A couple of them have wrecked me. I'm going to remember it for a long time
I know everyone is loyal to the creamy cone, but if you find yourself on Lexington, Sprinkles is a fun option too
He loves anyone who will give him attention so I'm sure he would love you right back!! Here is his profile picture as a bonus
The doggy daycare sends me pictures, and they always get one that looks like he's receiving shocking news as an actor in a soap opera
So lucky to have one of these prints from Entangled Roots Press out of PDX, updated from the original 1895 May Day poster.
Thanks for the follow! I'm always curious about new platforms so I checked out the link. Unfortunately when the first posts I see are the r word and this, I can tell it's not a place I'm interested in returning to.
When I first scrolled past this picture I briefly thought this was the priest from the movie Casper
Quiet night at the saints game, it was kind of weird, but a beautiful night to be out! With a $7 ticket, $6 root beer, and a $2 bus pass to get there, also a delightfully affordable date night
15 year old me is over the moon about getting Weezer tickets. 38 year old me is laughing that it's in the year 2026 and that I bought them because my kid wants to go
I just finished a longer nonfic, so I'm taking a break with a quick fiction read. It's okay, a little disappointing so far if I'm honest
If you have formals /prom dresses hanging around, please consider donating them! They must be clean and good condition. You can see what they currently have on their website if you're wondering what type of styles they offer. www.passdownthegown.com/donate-a-dress
I just finished this book and learned so much! If you love this clip and are curious about sky puppies it's a great read
This reminds me, I was reading through business licensing requirements in a metro area city code recently and found out that "adult car washes" are*/were apparently a thing? (*Present tense bc I don't see the ordinance repealed, not bc I know of one existing)
Made to use as a design for a linocut print, but it also works as a coloring sheet if anyone wants
I won't post any other photos because I think you should go see the show for yourself, but I need everyone to see gingerbread The Nook, which is currently on display at Gingerbread Wonderland at Norway House
Interesting! My guy has upright ears but the markings and snoot had me wondering if they have a bit of similarity! Jimmy has a shorter nose that looks more beagle from the side, but he's more rat terrier in other ways and his personality is more terrier-like. Rescues are just wonderful mysteries!
I'm doing a free 8-week challenge and virtual retreat on Discord starting next weekend. You'll get weekly activities and mini-challenges spanning all dimensions of wellness, prompts, reflections +more to help you reflect on your year and get clear and create a vision for 2026! discord.gg/jwUpCdQH
Please enjoy my friend the bat who is out every evening in my back yard. What do you think their name should be?
