I was a big fan of the first season of Apple’s Monarch: Legacy of Monsters show. Unfortunately, the writing took a big hit in S2. Characters (esp. Anna Sawai) do idiotic things for no other reason than “the show needs this to happen now.” The world building is fun, but there’s barely any Godzilla!

I will always advocate for one of my favorite, short lived, books, ‘Mazing Man. A slice of life story about a guy in Queens who popped on a helmet and long johns and decided to be a super hero. Very sweet and funny, it’d make a great series.

Oh man! I had all of those! I had so many D&D flavored Choose Your Own Adventure series. My favorites were the Steve Jackson ones, especially Citadel of Chaos
Profit. It was a Fox show from the 90s, starring Adrian Pasdar. He was a scheming junior exec who was clawing his way up the corporate ladder for the purposes of personal revenge. It was at least a decade ahead of its time, and it should’ve been as popular and influential as Succession.
