I sure hope that the parts of Ai survive…especially the parts I like! in the old days I would have to search Google 6+ pages down to clobber the “best“ solutions to things like airline reservations or how to fix a printer. Hate to admit, but google’s
Hmmm. Liddle Marco reminds me of… Stiff arms positioned to show off pecs Too short pants, one shorter than the other Plaster hair His dad’s too big shoes Ken Doll!
Our little boy, Cappy looks just like this…a toy miniature schnauzer, 7 pounds
This makes me want to wear my purple dress and white shoes to go sit on a curb and spit at maggots.
Tell your wife I love her work, style, genre. The pyrography especially caught my eye since I’ve done it! Encaustic
Another very early painting. Grands Rip and Tyler walking the pond behind our house looking for bullfrogs. I actually caught some personality like the way Ty holds his shoulder. 20+ years later this beginner painting is OK!
My feed has gotten lopsided, and politics is making me lose my Zen so more art. Hope you guys enjoy the story of my paintings…every painting has one. My first art “class” at least got me started. She advocated full sheet 300# watercolor paper for beginners. Watercolor 14x11”
In the beginning… Kid you not, this was the actual lighting in the Cango Cave in Oudtshoorn, South Africa at Christmas 2002. The image at bottom was from a restaurant that night where patrons picked an antique from the wall and wore it through dinner, the ostrich 30x24” watercolor
Must get my art studio cleaned up. Painting is my distraction…Procreate helps, but not the same as pushing real paint around!
I wrote a chapter back to you and then realized your loss wasn’t a grand, but your son. I’ll take another stab at it after more coffee…
Found it. Sammy said something ugly, demeaning, hateful. Has no followers, no content. I didn’t want to get its attention so tried to post my warning in general terms. Truth, I forgot his name!
I saw this image last week and thought for sure it was AI. Downloaded it and looked it up…it was only one of hundred variations, all with pics like these.
Wicki cwacks me up! This is the secondth time I have pondered the space ship object in these ads from @spoonflower-social.bsky.social . Even clicking on them to see if I can get more info! Toad ‘ya my eyes are trained to see negative spaces (for painting).
Impressive! Crafts like these formed my young life…and as I got comfortable with one, I’d take up a new one. My last new one has lasted 20 years because no one ever conquers painting.
“I Got It” Watercolor Gosh, those early paintings when I didn’t know shit about painting! This one I consider a win. And then I started “educating” meself and froze. Sometimes knowing nothing beats knowing too much!
A very early watercolor, trying to process the death of my daughter…is also appropo for America today. @marcelias.bsky.social A broken heart, trying to fly again, broken but sewn back with golden thread. Watercolor 12x9” Arches 140# CP. V.Ross©️
“Rip” Watercolor, 2003 probably Another early watercolor. I can remember which art group I was in which is a hint of the date. Grandson. Except for his eyes and using black, this one is pretty good. Portraits always came easy for me.
My first en Plein air. I had my own digital camera, a cute little Nikon. Randy was always the photog, but I wanted my own! Picture by a photog aren’t the same as pics as painting source. This was about the first pic I took! Glad I did because this flower inspired other paintings.
