Without saying your age, what's your favorite movie that came out when you were 18? This is HARD, because it was a very, very good year for movies, but...
Oh geez. I really don't get the confusion. Like..... the words SAY what they MEAN. But here you go, for next time. Source: www.nssl.noaa.gov/education/sv...
Without stating your age, post your favorite film released the year you turned 18. Oh man, this is hard. It was a very good year for movies.
ST:TOS, actual printed-on-paper zines like this one that I bought at cons, or through the mail from ads in OTHER zines or newsletters, or found out about from penpals. I would have been 14 or 15.
I've got a million of 'em. FWIW, I learned SO MUCH about art from that Masterpiece game.
Y'all, y'all, y'all. Read this from Cory Doctorow. It's long. Read it anyway.
I'll make you laugh; I bought my car from Carvana and took delivery of it on Halloween in 2018. This is how they delivered it to me. I sat in the open hatch and handed out candy that evening. 👻
Also, give MONEY to your local food bank. They have connections they can use to make your dollar go a lot, lot further than it will at your local retail grocer.
I had an "All the President's Men" poster on my bedroom wall when I was a teenager, because I was a big ol' politics geek even then, but also Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman.
I mean, you know, my first platform was PAPER ZINES. That I paid for with a CHECK. In the MAIL. 👵🏻 Most of them were at least xeroxed and not mimeographed, but not all of them. Also penpals and these little puppies.
A pound is a MAJOR win! Congratulations and love to this very good girl from my very good girl who has been living with a variety of geriatric issues (she's 17) for 2 1/2 years and is doing great! Veterinary medicine has come so far. ❤️
My memories are spotty, but I was 5 when ST:TOS premiered, and I very distinctly remember seeing the woman with no face in “Charlie X” and being scared.
The moment when I found out that the LB books were best sellers, and not just endcap filler for Walmart, was the moment when I realized that I no longer understood a significant portion of the American public.
I thought about going with Robbie from Forbidden Planet, but I’m a MUCH bigger nerd than that.
OK legislators worked through the night and overrode 49 gubernatorial vetoes. And rescued a kitten. Light at the end of the Stitt tunnel?
