Cambridge filmmaker Alvin Witcher took home Best Feat Doc at Clin d'Oeil in France for "Gary Malkowski: A Deaf Legacy in Ontario". Malkowski is the first Deaf Member of Provincial Parliament in Ont during the 90s. Clin d’Oeil is a biennial festival celebrating deaf arts, sign language, & culture.
