We have your winter here in southern New England. This is 2 months early and it's colder than usual for December. Last year I was still harvesting peppers and kale in early-mid December.

LOL! We were awoken this morning to a loud baying "Booool". Heaven only knows what she saw out the window. #TerrierTuesday
We had an underground cistern that was abandoned but useable so we pumped water out to clean & restore it to use. A young raccoon fell in after pumping it dry. It was unharmed but needed a way to climb out. We dropped a small thin tree & placed it in the cistern at an angle. It was gone in an hour.
