I don’t know, it’s Tuesday, i haven’t posted in a few days, I looked cute in my MCR shirt and earrings themed to match it… what else do you want?
It’s going to be a while before I get over my mom absolutely roasting me with this text (Yes I’m taking the spinner to try it)
Forgive me being super selfish and bragging for one post.
First true wear of the Lambchop dress for my spouse’s birthday party. Matching earrings of course, My Chem girly mag tee, and a purple shimmer to go with all the colors (and to match the color of BTS).
The only photos I was able to take at the sapphic pool party, left before and right after… rest assured I had a lovely time and looked ever so cute.
Things my wife thinks would easily trick me into a trap.
Today is 14 years since I moved to LA. As rock bottom as I could get, suicidal, yet somehow I found the ability to take my mom’s offer to pack up my shit and move in with my family. I can’t thank her enough for that. Love to you 22 y/o me, you did your best with the tools you had, we’re better now.
Yesterday I finally got my work to table with the community resources at Trans Pride and all I got was this trans flag cannoli (And a deep sense of accomplishment and pride for myself and the work I do)
Made myself into a gif because it’s nice to be vain during Pride.
Walked in the Pride parade with my work yesterday and had a very nice time. I can’t wait to see all the photos our pr people were snapping. For now, enjoy this amazing photo my pal snapped before the parade.
Sometimes you go to the queer clothing swap and someone has brought a mint set of Lambchop sheets. So you commission your pal to make you a dress, and she’s the best, like best of the best. So now you get to live your very best PBS girlie life.
Happy Pride, sometimes it’s a 36 year journey of “well in hindsight…”s and beating self-doubt. Here’s to finally being a sweet trans-femme and constantly happy to actually be present and enjoy being in my body.
I did it, I made it through my first full week in my new position.
2 new bumper stickers on my car (vintage shaved legs one and a new puppet one from Ragmop and Goose), I think my car finally gives a good idea of the queerdo who drives it.
I also went to the desert for 2 days with my spouse and it was lovely. Can’t recommend The Station and The Crotchet Museum enough. On the way back we hit up Cabazon Dinos and had a blast. I love my gay little life.
Ghoul’s Day Out at the “Helena Church” was fun as hell, A+ job to me for making sure we took some photos on my old ‘08 digicam. It’s one of the best parts of my life to be the pretty arm candy girlfriend to a babe like @satinelabelle.bsky.social .
It’s tough being the cutest girl in Sky Valley/Palm Desert, but someone had to do it.
First day at new branch with my new job title/duties. Vibes are saying “Hi, I love florals, but I also love sad pop-punk”
2 years since I first put on an estrogen patch, now it’s injections for ease. Radical Trans Agenda? it’s just me, wanting to be a pretty wife, making an icebox pie to serve, while wearing a pinafore or sundress. Here’s to an ever brighter future of being a wonderful wife, girlfriend, Mx. Cat Mom.
“Violet, what’s that sketch you’re using as a display pic?” Oh that, it’s a sketch of Peppo and me that my pal left me on a farewell note. Reference was this video but with the hair color updated 💞💞💞
One of our volunteers is besties/neighbors with Cathy Guisewite, so she brought her over to meet me as a last day surprise. Cathy was the nicest, she brought a copy of her book and signed it me, and we talked so much. Incredibly thoughtful and kind and sweet.
It’s my last day at my branch, Monday will be a new library branch with a new job title (yay promotion) and I’m doing SO good at not sobbing my eyes out to my friends about not working with them anymore.
Hi I was cute today, and I was very very sad that it’s almost my last day at this branch, but still smiling cause cute. that’s it… that’s the post.
Guess who taught herself how to make sports cards?! Gonna hand em out to old pals when I run into em at our all-staff development day.
Sometimes a library display is poignant and sometimes it’s something you and your buddy, “yes and”-ed each other into doing.
