This sleepy dragonfly was rescued from a footpath after a dog pointed it out. It walked on to the tissue and was placed in a sunny spot. Checking later it had flown off and a number of dragonflies were seen

Moorland fire in Longdendale #PeakDistrict #Landscape on fire. This fire started around 3 weeks ago and has appeared under control at times but not in recent days. The separate Dove Stone Reservoir are fire is just a short distance away over the hills
