It’s summer season and our tourist attractions are providing fun and memorable experiences for visitors. That includes Science North’s Dynamic Earth and the new Next Generation Mine Tour.
The Canada Child Benefit is increasing this month. Families can now get over $8,000 per child, tax free. This benefit supports close to 4 million families across Canada, helping with everyday costs like groceries and child care.
Fierté Pride Week is here in Sudbury! Since 1997, Fierté Sudbury Pride has played an active role in fostering connections and understanding in our community. This week is a chance to celebrate the 2SLGBTQI+. Come out and celebrate!
If you haven’t been to this year’s Northern Lights Festival Boréal, head to Bell Park and take in some great musical and creative arts performances. Ce spectacle annuel met en scène des artistes débutants et des artistes reconnus, et célèbre la culture francophone, autochtone et multiculturelle.
It was a weekend where Sudbury’s rich culture was celebrated. Great performances, food, stories and gatherings at the Caruso’s Italian Festival and the Festival of India at Bell Park.
What a beautiful afternoon in Garson! Yesterday was the St. John’s Cemetery Improvement Group’s Community Appreciation BBQ. The event brings together 500 of our neighbours for a great cause. All proceeds go to the Coniston Food Bank, supporting families right here in our community.
