Lastly, and this one isn't a one off (it's a couple of volumes long), but Morgana and Oz by Miyuli is ADORABLE. It's a lovely slow burn story about a tall, well-meaning girl failure witch who meets an easily flustered short king vampire and it's all about love and family and doing what's right.

Taproot by Keezy Young is another one I love! Definitely more fantasy than TP&TD, and it has a similarly lovely tone. It's about a romance between a gardener and a ghost!

She's also a polydactyl lady, with FULL mittens for front paws and only slightly smaller toes on her back feet. She's also weirdly muscular with VERY puffy pants, despite being a short haired cat. And very smiley. I feel like she'd be some sort of... Worm Paladin.

This is so cute! I have three little babies, but I'll drop DJ Toebeans for your consideration. She's a VERY goofy girl. She is very sweet, likes to scream and then just stand with her mouth open, and as a kitten she stole a plush worm from me that she suckles on. We call it her Worm Queen.
