Rory may be an artisan of Legendary reputation. But to learn the ways of Drezen's Redemption Forge, he has to impress more than Forgemaster Vayne, but the Salamanders that call the forge home. I'm sure he can handle them... #ScarsOfSarkoris #OC #Pathfinder

A dwarf dressed in forgemaster's garb adorned in gold details hefts a hammer over his shoulder, regarding Rory, "A'ight lad, if you've got the time, there's a tainted blade for you to prove yourself."

Rory, his jacket slung over his shoulder so his sleeveless shirt and coveralls show off his lightning scarred and celestial marked metallic skin. Smirking past his tinted lenses that hide the celestial glow of his eyes, he responds, "Well I've got time 'fore we set sail. 'Till then, I'm all yours."

They are both interrupted by a fiery declaration of "NO!"

A trio of Salamanders, one lithe and leaning on a stray anvil, one heavy set hefting a massive lump sledge, and a lead salamander with a distinctive scar over one eye as he holds a forked spear that doubles as forge tongs. The leader declares, "You are all OURS!"

You meet (and develop crushes on in Rory’s case) all kinds of interesting sorts in Mendev’s capital that are more than meets the eye. In the case of our reclaimers, the children of the Umbral dragon Ormylacros proved to be unlikely allies in their hunt for the Valravn. #ScarsOfSarkoris

Ashka, the shadow disciple monk and middle daughter of Ormylacros’ brood has a sharp with and discretely bright sense of fashion featuring pops of pink in her dark hair and leather combat gear.

Sometimes your a badass draconic sorcerer the likes that stalks the nightmares of mortals... sometimes you get knocked out cold by your older sister cause you're too hot headed for your own good. Meet Sorsul, youngest of Ormylacros' Umbral Dragon brood. #ScarsOfSarkoris

A young man who appears to be a fetchling, some manner of shadow touched half-elf. He stands with one hand in his pocket, the other holding a smouldering cigarette as he stares off to the distance, his eyes heavy and tired. He's well dressed in dapper Mendevan city wear and a long, baggy overcoat a size too large for him. His dark hair falls in a shaggy mess over his ears and the nape of his neck, hiding the tell tale scales that out him as a dragonblooded sorcerer. Little do most know he is in fact a full blooded young umbral dragon in mortal guise.

The callout shows him holding his cigarette and a drink in the same hand as he leans against a wall, addressing the viewer and looking equally miserable.

Rory & Rhys being twins made adolescence a mischievous and tricky time for both of them, especially when it came to how people treated them differently depending on if they were perceived as boys or girls. Rhys came into his own far faster than Rory, though, who always felt a little out of place.

Rory's weaponry and equipment have always featured avian themes, typically kestrels or magpies, but his rifle features a nutcracker as a memorial to his departed twin brother, Rhys. His brother's rapier hilt had feature the same bird and namesake, being the cheeky swashbuckler of the pair.

Rory carries a ton of grief at the loss of his brother and best friends. Despite his new colleagues and friends' best efforts, there is a part of him that has completely lost his sense of home, and a deep, abiding loneliness that he seeks to be free of.
