Not your garden toad, but a very sandy Fowler's Toad.
Folwer's Toads have more warts per dark spot but the warts are smaller (not that you can tell with all that sand).

A Yellow Warbler sits amongst the green leaves and red flowers on a shrub. It holds a yummy larvae in its bill.

Okay! OKay! We can call it a Northern Yellow Warbler if you insist.

One of our summer staff listens for Louisiana Waterthrush at a breeding site. We look for the nests by patiently watching for the female coming and going while incubating eggs or later tracking the parents as they carry insect food to their young.
