I finally caught up with Spider-Man Brand New Day on Friday night, back at the local @omniplexcinemas I've been to see all the recent Tom Holland Spidey films and only I think missed 1 each of the Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield era releases (and the 2 superb animated films!).
Yeah that was extremely frustrating. But I'm glad it was only the EFL Cup (shame it wasn't a Trophy match mind). We looked decent enough at times. Just couldn't get past the Stevenage bus properly due to missing final touches. I'm also surprised at the lack of midfield shots, given their capability.
It's the return of my film reviews! 😁 After spending all my spare hours for the best part of 3 weeks working on the Krix upgrades to the UK demo cinema for Custom AV Distribution I'm back at the big cinema. Like many people I've been eagerly waiting for The Odyssey to arrive.

This week's film of choice is Supergirl from DC Studios and featuring Milly Alcock in the lead role. It's well written, directed and acted. The soundtrack and visuals are great and I absolutely enjoyed watching the film.
Today's film watched @omniplexcinemas.bsky.social is #ScaryMovie6. It's mehh, not sure why I thought it might be better. 🤣 It's just a mess and I'm glad it was quite short. 5/10
This week's (first?) film review is the new Steven Spielberg Sci fi thriller #DisclosureDay Watched again at High Wycombe @omniplexcinemas.bsky.social thanks to my membership there. It's a solid Spielberg film, engrossing from start to finish and really well paced.

Tonight's film was The Void (2016), a horror film I bought on Blu-ray. The tag line is "There is a hell, this is worse." sadly that's true and it's a bit of a mess. Nice practical effects work, but there's no suspense building and you just don't care about anyone. 5/10
Today's movie review is The Mandalorian and Grogu, at the local High Wycombe @omniplexcinemas.bsky.social Popped in to see this on my own and it made a nice change from horror. Without being too much of a spoiler it's very much aimed at it's 12A audience rating. #StarWars #mandalorian #filmreviews

Strong @wwfc.com side once again vs @barnsleyfc.bsky.social Morley in for Henderson, assume he gets a rest. Allen starts in place of Hagelskjaer who hopefully isn't out for too long. And Lowe gets his first start. Here's hoping he can add to his goal per game and maintain his 3 points per game avg!
Hopefully this @wwfc.com form spreadsheet is visible on here. I'm going to have to split it up soon I think. Key take aways for me. Excellent defence again. Keep a clean sheet next weekend and we're down to 0.4 GAPG. Good current form 2.0 PPG. Also 2.0 PPG for 2026 as a whole.
Fundamentals from this. Duff gaining 1 point extra per match compared to Dodds. Goals scored +33%, conceded -31%. Slowly creeping up the table, need to score more goals. Simples.

We're going to need a really good run to achieve the predicted peak from mid November that put @wwfc.com on target for an 87 point season. Still things are picking up well from that Luton loss low point. (December was an even worse month across all competitions).
