Kenley Drive in Sherwoord to the Charlottetown Public Library (approx): 11 minutes driving 32 minutes by bus 65 minutes on foot 16 minutes cycling (odd, none of the three options use the Confederation Trail. Undecided If I'd do any, unless a really quiet time of day car-traffic-wise).
Person living on Beach Grove has to get new glasses at Vogue Optical (approx): 7 minutes driving 37 minutes by bus 54 on foot 16 minutes cycling (option two through the UPEI campus: the one I'd take, a bit safer than North River & Belvedere, but still scary on Mt Edward & Belvedere).
Here are random day-time, weekday journeys that take much more time than driving does. Walthen Drive to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (approx): 7 minutes driving 31 minutes by bus 44 minutes on foor 15 minutes cycling (easy to do, on a nice day, not winter, unless I was going because ill/in pain)

Charlottetown's Water and Sewer Workers of CUPE Local 830 are holding a town hall meeting today Wednesday, August 27, at 6 PM at the Carriage House (Beaconsfield Historic House), 2 Kent Street, #Charlottetown. Residents are welcome to talk with the striking workers about their month-long job action.

An approach that would work wonderfully year-round for the Victoria Park roadway bordering part of #Charlottetown Harbour. Currently, one lane is blocked in the summertime as an AT lane, with cars allowed in the other. Reverts to two lanes November to April (early 'opening' this year👇). #PEI
