Duluth MN last night. We got a break with a wind shift today, but winds are now pushing out of the NW again.

I think Mother nature is a little pissed off about the congressional resolution and presidential action overturning a 20-year federal mining ban near the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. It's very hot and windy here and these fires are growing at a very fast pace.

These were my fishing buddies today. I always seem to find the fish when the pelicans show up.
I am seeing about 20 posts a day similar to this. I have not clicked on it because usually, the accounts are new, with only a handful of followers. It also looks a lot like a spam post. Either the bots are out in full force, or I was added to a starter pack of bots. 🤷♀️

I can hear the thunder starting to rumble. Please, please, please let this bring enough rain and no lightening. We are about 10 miles from one of the fires here in Minnesota. We also just got a notification of a new fire that is also too close for comfort.

Does anyone else think everything he did today was on purpose? Blue suit, chewing a wad of gum, checking his phone, sleeping. Who does those things at a funeral? He can't go a day without the conversation being about him.
