Sending @lbmcgrath.bsky.social high fives as someone who also got the word “bullshit” into the final draft of their manuscript.

The @scholarslab.bsky.social summer student showing off her project! Seyla Fernandez is a rising sophomore at Brown interested in C20 labor history. She worked with us to match materials and methods to topic, making a wearable zine on the politics of C20 women's sewing labor. #DHMakes
First gig back since baby no 2 featuring the brand new The Hard Modes zine. Cc / @literaturegeek.bsky.social
Finally got a chance to open the shared journal from @katinalynn.bsky.social after childcare forced it to take a backseat for several days. Immediately found a new friend all the way from NYC. I treasure my new little bookmark.
Uh oh @literaturegeek.bsky.social has given me stationary with more power than one person should have.
Embedded Pedagogies has a cover! I liked this image of the ones that were shared because it shows someone reading a large music score alone in a rows of auditorium-style seating. The room is structured for a certain kind of interaction and a poor fit for what he is trying to do.
Someone out there stole the thing @quinnanya.me mailed to me before it could arrive and I sort of love that for them.
Making one of my wife’s childhood favorites for the first time. Roman Rice and Beand (titled “mush” in the margins. #DHCooks
Making some fire roasted tomato and artichoke sauce w/ tortellinis for dinner. #DHCooks
Sometimes I still cook. Barley, couscous, and lemon dill soup with Greek yogurt. #DHCooks
Just talked about @uvalibrary.bsky.social with a team of fab colleagues for the Albemarle Charlottesville Historical Society. I love doing these outreach events. For my part, I played a fun game of "what is this?" Shared various Lab projects, had people guess what they were, and discussed them.
Toddler picked this book out to read. Doing things right but also I have questions.
