We went to Katmai yesterday and it was the single greatest experience of my lifetime. I’d call it spiritual but that fails to encapsulate the magic of it all. Amazing #bucketlist trip for #brownbear lovers. #grizzly #Katmai. That humans can witness this for ourselves? Almost unimaginable.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the human and animal moms out there! I’m lucky to spend my day with my daughter, who gave me that once-in-a-lifetime gift we all hope for: validation that just maybe I did ok despite all the hardships.

Had a top ten life moment today, simple and beautiful. Titus was sleepy. He and I dance to Sia’s “Snowman” before his bottle and nap. Today hubs held Titus and we danced, sang, and laughed to a magical song and a forever memory. This is how life should be. Not the hellscape in today’s Murika.

Hubs installed “litter catchers” on the basement stairs to stop Max from carrying litter upstairs on his paws. Max: hold my catnip.
