For a recent challenge in the Crystal Animamates #sailormoon RP Group, we were asked to design a #jewelry piece inspired by our characters. My Sailor Malachite King Cobra became a modern sculptural necklace while Sailor Andalusite Lynx brings in Moorish tile designs for a pricey necklace set.

The necklace is a piece of rounded, hammered gold with a circular malachite inclusion. The gold piece is shaped somewhat like the back of a king cobra's head, viewed from behind. It latches on to two mesh-covered fabric or leather tubes in warm yellow and malachite green, to suggest the scaled body of a serpent.
