OSINT database of visually confirmed material losses in 🇷🇺🇺🇦 war.
All the way back to 2022, and exact same day only holds 4 🇷🇺 losses in 🇺🇦. Among them this T-72B3 Obr. 2016 South of Bilohorivka (🇺🇦 ribbon apparently attached later). Interestingly, the footage from 'Stugna' that hit it is also available: twitter.com/UAWeapons/st... 4/4
Further back to 2023, and the same day holds 10 🇷🇺 losses in 🇺🇦. Contrary to the previous one, none of those 10 — incl. this T-72B3 from Luhansk oblast (although likely from earlier time) — sports any kind of additional caging, reality that now almost feels pre-historic. 3/4
Fast rewind to 2024, and the same day holds 16 🇷🇺 losses in 🇺🇦. Among them this T-72B3 Obr. 2016 with cope cage, turtle and whatnot treatment none of which helped it in the vicinity of Hlyboke, Kharkiv raion. 2/4
#ThrowbackLoss This day year ago (2025) holds 10 visually confirmed 🇷🇺 material losses in 🇺🇦. Among them this 'Buk-M1-2' TELAR receiving direct loitering UCAV hit after several initial drone drops, this time followed by proper cooking off in West Volnovakha raion. 1/4
Last week holds 30 visually confirmed 🇷🇺 material #WeeklyLosses in 🇺🇦, 50% 📈 up from to the week before (20 initially, 23 now), yet less than inspiring compared to the same 7-day period over previous years: 2⃣0⃣2⃣5⃣: 45 2⃣0⃣2⃣4⃣: 83 2⃣0⃣2⃣3⃣: 75 2⃣0⃣2⃣2⃣: 81
All the way back to 2022, and exact same day now holds 17 🇷🇺 losses in 🇺🇦. Among them this KamAZ-53949 'AS-Linza' medevac captured in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Rare specimen — just like pretty much all IMVs in 🇷🇺 army — it's one of 13 recorded losses incl. 4 captures so far. 4/4
Further back to 2023, and the same day holds 10 🇷🇺 losses in 🇺🇦. *Not* among them this what might be 'Buk-M2' TELAR doing epic 💥 (as we see another one fleeing the tree line moments after) — but may just as well be a bunch of stashed munition. 3/4
Fast rewind to 2024, and the same day holds 12 🇷🇺 losses in 🇺🇦. Among them this 'Pantsir-S1' combat vehicle destroyed formidably at Melitopol airbase near occupied Melitopol. 2/4
#ThrowbackLoss This day year ago (2025) holds 4 visually confirmed 🇷🇺 material losses in 🇺🇦. Among them this 'Zemledeliye' remote mine-laying system FPV'ed near Snagost, Korenevo raion. Interestingly, just a day later another truck would be hit right besides it. 1/4
Last week holds 20 visually confirmed 🇷🇺 material #WeeklyLosses in 🇺🇦, sharp decline compared to the week before (34 initially, 43 now), and especially to to the same 7-day period over previous years: 2⃣0⃣2⃣5⃣: 44 2⃣0⃣2⃣4⃣: 122 2⃣0⃣2⃣3⃣: 76 2⃣0⃣2⃣2⃣: 121
It looks like 2026 may eventually touch 2025 at its lowest but that may as well never happen. Otherwise the purpose of this chart is going to be landing future wikipedia article on attrition war. 5/5
That, and arguably for the first time in a long while — possibly ever — 100% of legit losses being comprised of those destroyed. Captures and abandoned vehicles have been a thin line since the beginning of this year, but now they appear to be completely extinct. 4/5
What's new, though, is towed artillery suddenly making it to the top 5 (and tanks re-appearing). It's unclear atm whether this is an evidence of another deliberate effort. 3/5
Virtually 50% of those — just as month ago — were trucks, often hit in the middle of the road. That extends 🇺🇦 logistics targeting campaign to nearly 2 months now, with the outcome TBD. 2/5
Here's quick #MonthlyLosses look at last Jun, which in a lot of respects was nearly the same as May. It scored very much the same amount of confirmed 🇷🇺 losses in 🇺🇦, to begin with: 151 vs 143 (initially, 150 now). But that's not all. 1/5
All the way back to 2022, and exact same day now holds 28 🇷🇺 losses in 🇺🇦. Among them this presumably BMP-2 doing epic 💥 in undisclosed location with little context provided, which makes it rather low quality entry on the list. 4/4
Further back to 2023, and the same day again holds 6 🇷🇺 losses in 🇺🇦. Among them this what appears to be turretless T-72, and three MT-LB's — all three would've been recovered from the scene later — near Chervonopopivka, Luhansk oblast just across the border with Donetsk. 3/4
Fast rewind to 2024, and the same day holds 6 visually confirmed 🇷🇺 losses in 🇺🇦. Among them this Ural truck hit in Kupiansk raion with FPV, aerial and ground footage of the attack available, not unusual example of just insane level of documentation in this war. 2/4
#ThrowbackLoss This day year ago (2025) holds 8 confirmed 🇷🇺 material losses in 🇺🇦. Among them this what used to be BMP-3 besides what also used to be BMP-3, and what used to be MT-LB North of Terny, although the other two lost earlier that year. 1/4
Last week holds 34 visually confirmed 🇷🇺 material #WeeklyLosses in 🇺🇦, very much the same as the week before (30 initially, 34 now) as well as the week before that one. Compare to the same 7-day period over previous years: 2⃣0⃣2⃣5⃣: 36 2⃣0⃣2⃣4⃣: 104 2⃣0⃣2⃣3⃣: 69 2⃣0⃣2⃣2⃣: 94
All the way back to 2022, and exact same day holds 12 🇷🇺 losses in 🇺🇦. Among them this T-64A being cannibalised on camera somewhere in Luhansk oblast. A rare type in anyone's ranks these days, it's one of only 2 confirmed losses so far. 4/4
Further back to 2023, and the same day holds 13 🇷🇺 losses in 🇺🇦. Half of them were this bunch of KamAZ/Ural trucks in plain sight in Central Zaporizhzhia oblast, apparently hit by some kind of precision — and quite timely — strike. 3/4
Fast rewind to 2024, and the same day now holds 11 visually confirmed 🇷🇺 losses in 🇺🇦. Among them these BMP-2 and T-80 half way between Donetsk and Pokrovsk, both turretless and both likely lost some time earlier. 2/4
#ThrowbackLoss This day year ago (2025) holds 4 confirmed 🇷🇺 losses in 🇺🇦. Among them this 240mm M-1991 Chuch'e/Juche (🇰🇵 is particularly 🤷♂️ on official designations) MRL in Volnovakha raion, 🇰🇵 5 cents to 🇷🇺 war effort, and the only loss of the type on our list so far. 1/4
Last week holds 30 visually confirmed 🇷🇺 material #WeeklyLosses in 🇺🇦, exactly the same as the week before (unchanged since initially reported) and both, unsurprisingly, far below the same 7-day period over past years: 2⃣0⃣2⃣5⃣: 68 2⃣0⃣2⃣4⃣: 116 2⃣0⃣2⃣3⃣: 78 2⃣0⃣2⃣2⃣: 73
All the way back to 2022, and exact same day only holds 3 🇷🇺 losses in 🇺🇦. Among them this Su-25 that crashed in East Bakhmut raion. The pilot, retired Maj. turned Wagner mercenary Fedorchukov, ejected but was captured only to be later exchanged — and never seen again. 4/4
Further back to 2023, and the same day holds 10 🇷🇺 losses in 🇺🇦. Among them this T-54/55 tank-based VBIED doing nuclear-grade 💥 in the vicinity of Novomykhailivka SW of Donetsk. 🇷🇺 widely used this kind of VBIEDs in 2023 and 2024 but then stopped for whatever reason. 3/4
Fast rewind to 2024, and the same day now holds 21🇷🇺 losses in 🇺🇦. Among them this T-90A Obr. 2006 near Kuzemivka, Svatove raion. Till this day, it remains the last recorded loss of this particular T-90 variant, presumably virtually extinct by now. 2/4
#ThrowbackLoss This day year ago (2025) holds 11 confirmed 🇷🇺 losses in 🇺🇦. Most of them — at least 6 — were bunch of KamAZ trucks hiding on ex-Soviet farm some 40km East of Donetsk, deep behind the frontline, reportedly, a result of a fixed-wing drone attack. 1/4
Last week holds 30 visually confirmed 🇷🇺 material #WeeklyLosses in 🇺🇦, up 📈 from 18 week before (then, 20 now) while both only a fraction of what we've seen over the same 7-day period before: 2⃣0⃣2⃣5⃣: 43 2⃣0⃣2⃣4⃣: 164 2⃣0⃣2⃣3⃣: 68 2⃣0⃣2⃣2⃣: 128
