I know it's no one's priority, but how is Paddypower on Dorset Street allowed to just be wide open to the street? The door (open) doesn't even have a poster on it. I thought betting shops had to have frosted windows/ coverings so people couldn't see inside from the street?

Stripped out the lens holder fixture with a knife and was able to (sort of) put the lens in! Let's get some film into this!

Ahahahaha! It's worse than I could've hoped! Rather than an imagining lens holder & a separate viewfinder lens holder the box has 2 imaging lens holders! It can't attach because it's shaped wrong for where it goes! I'll be shooting blind! A glorious start to the #ShittyCameraChallenge!

I was standing in the queue for the self-service checkouts in Lidl when I got the text. Even though two checkouts became free at the same time the guy behind me yelled at me to move.
I was still staring at my phone, half turned to acknowledge I heard him but didn't say anything, shook myself awake long enough to step forward. He walked to the other checkout, by that time a third checkout had freed up.
I scanned through my items, some milk, raisins, a few oranges, wondering why this was what I was doing.

"Hey guys. We let gracie go this morning. She was in pain and not getting any better, so she peacefully went to sleep a little while ago."

I was still a few minutes from home, of all the places I wanted to have a cry the checkouts in Lidl was probably the last place.
I got home, dropped my stuff on the floor, sat and the stairs and wept.
13 years this weird dog was in our lives since we adopted her from the rescue. This was probably the first picture I took of her, she'd been alone for minutes and had eaten a whole chair from the front room.
No one could be cross at her, she was just a little baby!
The first time we brought her home she would sit on someone's lap and try to hide - sometimes tucking herself into a fleece, sometimes just sticking her nose up your sleeve. The sweetest nervous little dog you could ever want.
It's a weird thing to happen in a week.
She was poorly towards the end, the last time I saw her she didn't even greet me at the door, she was curled up on the couch and looked for pets. Her head tilted up when she was I was eating, begging in the relaxed way retired dogs do. 'You bring me the food'.
As I left I kind of knew, I sat on the floor beside her and said goodbye.
3 days later I got a text as I stood in the queue in Lidl.

The little Kodak Charmeras aren't great, try fix 'em in Light Room all you want. BUT just use one in-built filter that looks shit instead! Like haunted blown out & decayed photos, a washed out scene from #ReturnOfTheObraDinn, accept chaos! It's pretty fun trying to wrangle it to a coherent image!
