Today we said goodbye to Marnie's Uncle Rod - Roderick Allan MacDonald. Thoughts are with Timble, Shannon, Ryan, Bruce, Kelly, his grandkids, and of course my mother-in-law, his sister Elizabeth. We are really going to miss him.
1993. First Halifax Pop Explosion is what lead to the mural being put up. I was a bouncer and DJ at this bar, and was there basically 5 nights a week. Still friends with dozens of people I met there, started my first business because of the music here. An amazing community.

The multi-use path is reduced to under 2 m, which means bikes and pedestrians are going to be in conflict, especial.There's no access to the path without jaywalking across the bulb of the cul-de-sac on Quingate. There is no direct cleared way for a cyclist from Windsor Street. Do better.
Come on man. Halifax' own Bermuda triangle continues to be a problem 6-7 years after NS Power said they would fix it within 2 years. Maybe a couple of times a month... since Hurricane Juan.
