Game update: I'm figuring out the UI for the game, at least the more text heavy parts. At first I tried the usual VN layout, with sprites over the text box, but I don't think that's gonna work out for what I want. The more gameplay heavy UI is still on the works hahah. More info in the ALT text!

The idea is that the dialogue parts of the game will jump between "Dialogue" and "Cinematic" scenes, depending on whether the characters are just talking with minimal action, or a scene is actually developing (mostly NSFW scenes). Some mini scenes might happen in the Dialogue layout though; for example, if 2 characters hug, I might swap the portraits for that scene while the hug is happening.

A bit of claritifaction about the Dialogue Options: they are more akin to "what do you want to talk / ask about first" than choices. Imagine them being like "1. Who are you? // 2. What are you doing here? // 3. Wanna fuck? // 4. Leave", and each will trigger a dialogue that will circle back to the same option window, greying out the ones you've already exhausted, but maybe unlocking new ones to talk about. They'll be there as to learn more about the world and the characters, perhaps unlock some scene with them, start some quest, recruit a new worker, etc, but allowing you to skip past any dialogue that doesn't interest you, like world lore or a certain character's backstory

This is the layout for NSFW, but I won't limit it to just that. Maybe some fighting or other action can happen. Instead of Cinematic it should probably be called "Action" scenes. These will be railroaded, so no multiple choice; once the scene starts, just sit back and enjoy it! I might add a Skip Scene button in case a scene gets into some kink territory that is not up the player's alley. The game will most likely be PC only, but I'm trying to keep the layout as touchscreen friendly as I can in case I manage to port it to android
