Really into lipstick again, the red seems to represent the pressure of the deadline. Thinking of the bold lip really not the thing I should be concentrating on atm.

The last day of my no make-up week. Finishing this PhD is making me understand how the maquette has taught me so much about myself in how these unseen versions of the self have value in the making of ourselves. This from somebody who became an air hostess because she could wear loads of make-up!
Excited to be reading at this launch for Galia’s new book. If you’re in London next Sat, come along! Planning an outfit as we speak. Of course I am!
From my charity shop. A dress for feeling pretty and drinking coffees in.
Make-up free for the longest I’ve ever managed. Going for a mega-lash mascara look tomorrow.
Going through whole of thesis with supervisor whilst looking like a character from House of Dragons vs Bananarama. Back into mascara as from tomorrow. Bored of the natural look.
Moving into July with the end in sight and many more charity shop outfits to be worn.
Recognising that perhaps my negativity recently was from the fact I have been living with an (unknown) slipped disc and not being able to move my toes for a year, rather than just the finishing of the PhD and finding THE JOB.
My day to day look is no different from my hospital look. Hopefully the end to a year of a slipped disc!!!
Quite loved my hospital socks with Valentino flip-flops. Not pictured is my leopard sarong as I didn’t have a dressing gown 😂
Extraordinary amount of leopard going on if you consider that I was also wearing leopard trainers.
