A painted bunting with house sparrows at all four corners behind my friends’ home in South Austin. #birds 🪶

A painted bunting perches at the center of a tall and narrow bird feeder. It is a vivid blue, green, and red bird. It is surrounded on all corners by feeding house sparrows. I took the shot through a fence and the focal sharpness’s on the bunting is a bit off.

A kind of derpy looking bird, perched on some branches in the middle of a pond, surrounded by lily pads, and intently observing the water below for a fishy treat.

I met this northern lapwing at the Löddeåns mynning Naturreservat, just outside Lomme, Sweden. 🪶 #birds

A medium sized wading bird, hanging out in short grass and surrounded by lots of small white flowers. It’s not the best photo so they look black and white and you can’t see the usual iridescent coloration. It has a small jaunty crest on its head.
