Makes me wonder if I really want to descend into hell (Go down to town for a supply run) today…
I rented one on vacation last week (only EV available.) it feels like a 1990 Honda Civic, with more spunk. The one we drove had a bashed in back fender from a previous renter trying full self driving, which backed into a post.
Is this like self driving? I only drive EVs. Have a Rivian at home. I turned off lane control because I live on a winding dirt road. It finds that confusing. I’m renting a Tesla while in Hawaii. It has damage from self driving mode backing into a post. I’m a 1 on AI in my car. I’ll drive, thanks!

We need to be more creative in using the waste energy from data centers. In the EU they are doing district heating. Just creating heat islanding is not acceptable! fortune.com/2026/04/01/a...
No Tyrants! Longmont, CO. Much bigger crowd than the last No Kings, with lots of creative signs.
And a very civilized party culture, judging from my recent visit to Copenhagen. Tivoil is a real classy experience compared to US theme parks.
A better world is possible! Read this 🧵to the end: Rebecca Brown Good issues her first statement since the murder of her wife Renee Good; “First, I want to extend my gratitude to all the people who have reached out from across the country and around the world to support our family. 🧵 1/14
I have been visiting Paris the past week, having been in Amsterdam the week before. Ridership on public transportation is strong in both cities, but Paris still has a way to go to provide safe bike lanes. Amsterdam is the model: simply amazing!
I’m so thankful that we are getting this smart, sweet, lovely young woman safely out of the US! She’s saying goodbye to our cat… she won’t be back before the end of his lifetime. She’s making an opportunity out of oppression by moving to Europe for college!
Colorado folks look north! The Aurora is naked eye visible tonight. This is the view out our kitchen window right now and an hour ago:
I voted today … for free school lunches for all CO public school students and mental health care for people experiencing homelessness. Use your power. Everyday #Resistance
Everyday #Resistance Keep implementing climate action at home, however you can. Effective personal actions (Drawdown.org): 1) install solar 2) don’t eat beef 3) don’t drive an ICE vehicle or fly 4) electrify cooking and heat 5) switch to fossil-free bank and investments 6) support climate orgs
I think you need a second axis. Something like this, perhaps. We used to live in a liberal democracy. Now are sliding into fascism. Communism is also authoritarian.
Happy world bicycle day! E-bikes have been a game-changer for us mountain folks… this is my elderly disabled neighbor Bill, who doesn’t drive, showing off his new e-bike which he rides regularly from Boulder to Brainard Lake and Gold Hill to hike and visit friends like us!
Sweet little “peace, love and pride” parade in wholesome little Gold Hill, Colorado. Just happens to be scheduled opposite the fascist birthday party. Come celebrate with us instead.
I got to marry a smart, kind, gregarious woman with dimples who likes to cuddle as much as I do and we are very contented together.
I just took a road trip in my Rivian to a red state, and, though I was mostly avoiding Tesla chargers, I did have occasion to converse with Tesla owners. All of them asked me how I like my Rivian (love it!) and said they were switching when their leases were up to dissociate from the Tesla brand.
