
These are Lyle’s Flying Foxes, a species of large fruit bats predominantly found in Cambodia, Vietnam, and Thailand. They live in huge colonies and are often found roosting in trees inside Buddhist temple grounds, which is exactly where we found them on our way to Ayutthaya.
