“converting their owed money into equity in the league”
The thought of being the guy(s) doing the removal work is…
Well, the tach and the temp gauge have been acting kinda wonky... I’ve got top men working on it. Top. Men.* * My daughter named the car “Indigo” because it is a deep blue – “Indie” for short.
This is NOT what you want to see in the engine compartment fuse box of a car that you just bought! 🤦🏻♂️

Few things in the publishing world piss me off more than a paperback release with a completely different title than the original hardback. The paperback has been on my shelf for years, unread, hidden by double-shelved books in front of it. I bought the hardback maybe last year. 1/2
From a story on new laws taking effect as of July 1. Always remember that the RepubliKKKan Party wants an uneducated proletariat, a serf/peasant class to serve their corporate masters, and part of that is to make it more difficult/expensive for ppl to get an education.
The Middle East Air Power book looked interesting so I tracked down a copy for myself (online booksellers will be the ruin of me yet.) My father was with the U.S. 1st Armored Division in North Africa and Italy; anything to do with that theater of operations is of interest to me.
Just picked up “Hounded”, by Kevin Hearne at my local indie bookseller, @hicklebees.bsky.social . When @theauthorguy.bsky.social mentions that he is reading a series, I just have to check it out.
Currently rewatching the very enjoyable British television series “Foyle’s War”, and the time period – especially the first two seasons, which take place during the summer and fall of 1940 – fits well with my current reading, @spitfirefilly.bsky.social ’s quite excellent “Eagle Days”:
Our 16-year-old terrier-mix doggo has been having trouble getting in and out of the house via the doggie door, so I made him a step. This is why dads keep bits of scrap lumber from DIY projects. The next thing might be repainting that doorway… 🙄
New releases from @billfields.bsky.social and Tom Coyne, of course purchased from my local indie bookseller, @hicklebees.bsky.social . Now the quandary – which do I read first?
You know, miss a decimal point in the calculations for a free-return trajectory and they'd drift off into deepest space, never to return.
As much as I like Stephen Colbert, this is a big “Oh, HELL no!” from me.
20+ years of sharpening (top) vs brand new (NOS) #GerberKnives
Waiting for my slices @pizzamyheart.bsky.social and just picked up this great read by @underwaterlance.bsky.social in paperback @hicklebees.bsky.social
The title made my eye twitch just a little – IYKYK. #SerialComma
