Absolutely fantastic episode! Loved it. Also reminded me of my all time favorite Little Free Library find. I actually yelled “SHUT THE FUCK UP” when I saw it in there so loud I was afraid the family inside might have heard me.
Fright (1971, Collinson) *** out of five Groundbreaking, the first “babysitter terrorized while babysitting” horror film. Susan George is great as always but the setup is so labored, clumsy and unrealistic, that it threatens to derail the entire picture. 1/
INFESTED (2024, Vanicek) **** 1/2 out of five Why’d it have to be spiders?? Basically my nightmare. A group of people are locked in their high rise dwelling during an infestation of highly poisonous, highly evolutionary, and highly angry spiders.

CRAWL (Aja, 2019) **** out of five A movie this silly shouldn’t work this well but good lord I was a ball of nerves for the entire final hour. So much fun!! And the final needle drop made me cackle with laughter. A really good time.

BACKROOMS (2026, Parsons) ***1/2 out of five In 2019, on a drive back from a job in Wisconsin, I stopped in the small town of Wausau to get lunch. I walked the streets of downtown for a while and then wandered into their shopping mall which is nearly abandoned. 1/
