My little town attracts thousands of people for our annual summer festival, Solon Beef Days. One of the big highlights is the Hay Bale Toss. Always on Friday night of Beef Days. Past winners include current NFL players, Tyler Linderbaum (from Solon) and Tristan Wirfs (from MtVernon IA). Solon, Iowa.
We have had several families in my community face unimaginable loss. We must be reminded to live each day.
