Dang, was going through old pendants, the oldest one pictured here is when I started using marbles (no more clear resin), all the way back to 2013! I started doing pendants/casting earlier than that. To be clear, I do enjoy what came of the work, but that’s a long time, ready to do some new stuff!

Today the weather tricked me, it was not a good day to cast. So I ran inside to clean the studio, found these on my forgotten to do list. I think I’ve cleaned these guys up for painting twice now. If anyone wonders why I limit the edition on a lot of sculpts…

A tiny bunny and kitty have been put into the pink goop, in hopes of getting more tiny bunnies & kitties. This is the first time I've done a one part mold (ahem... intentionally...)

Got 34% on the octopus shape though. I kind of got tired after the third tentacle, so it seems like a fair score. Pentagram shape got a better score.

Hit rock bottom here, but to be fair, I didn't know I was drawing a pentagon.

Here I am, thinking it's just gonna be a chill mold making day. Then this big ass wasp flies into my studio like "Sorry, I think I made a wrong turn..." It took a couple tries for us to figure out the right way to carry her in a cup.

They must mean he's in the top 1% of circangles. I mean, I'm impressed, my own circangle is only 26%, whatever that means. Weirdly, I'm getting better scores with my mouse, lol!

Nature just schooled me on the “cute round bunny” topic, right after I finish the pebble bunny. Last few days, this baby showed up next to our front step, and I just can’t handle this level of adorable. It hid in our downspout, ears sticking out, and was all “Can’t see bunny! Perfectly hidden!”

Digital sketch of a Corgi loaf, just for practice! This is based off of a real pup. A lot of people think that working as a kennel tech means you get to play with puppies all day, but most of the time that’s not the case (especially in large social groups).

Had to take today slow though. A bad pancreatitis attack is what took my childhood kitty, Pumba. I'm happy to care for both of them, animal care is in my bones, it's something that just feels right. It's just been difficult remembering his end of life care today.

The majestic house tiger is released back into her natural habitat... Yesterday was way too long of a vet stay, but we're both working on resting up today after so much stress. She got her ultrasound results in too.

First she got another hot spot, and had to wear the cone of shame. Then daylight savings always wrecks her tummy health (I hate DST so much, why is this stupid practice even still around?!) She doesn't handle drop off visits very well, I'm so worried it's going to be too much piled up in one week.
