The Virtual Boy Display at the Oregon Library show, featuring real Nintendo Virtual Boy systems as well as the modern Virtual Boy emulator for the Nintendo 3DS, which replicates the 3D effect really nicely.

Banana for scale. 😁 This is a little homebrew computer that looks and plays like an IBM PS/2 computer. Very cool to see it at the Oregon Library show!

The WCC is headed to Wausabicon in Wausau Wisconsin this Saturday! This event crashed during the pandemic, and at long last it's coming back! The WCC will have a booth there featuring some of our unusual imported hardware. The event is at the Elks lodge just off the 400 block, and is FREE for all! 🥳

Funky! These old monitors do odd things sometimes, especially after being stored in the garage all winter. Got this one fixed with a screwdriver.

A quick before and after of a very dusty 486-based system that was used as a business phone answering machine for at least 17 years. Now that it's safe from recycling, it's gonna be a cool DOS gaming machine! More to follow!

We may have some dials that fit in spares. When the weather gets nice again someday, I'll get the leg repaired here too so it doesn't need to rely on talking animal movies from the 90's to stand upright. 😅

The dials were missing, and the leg was broken off when we got it (still got the leg though), but the recyclers didn't get her, and that's the important thing. If you or someone you know is looking for a truly vintage TV, this crazy photogenic Admiral set is free to a good home!

If you need a CRT TV, you are in luck! The WCC's effort to intercept tvs bound for recycling worked out great- all of these will be cleaned up and tested, then they're FREE to a good home! Because reuse beats recycling. Also, "retro gaming tvs" shouldn't be expensive. 😎
