The Lions of Ioannia had a less successful outing this weekend, failing to stop the Trench Ghosts from looting precious relics. We did find a relic of holy water our priest will use as a sniper scope.

Played in an #AgeofSigmar tournament today to try and counteract a bad week. Went 1-2 and learned I’m not much of a fan of the new movement shenanigans in #OssiarchBonereapers. Took out Morathi twice, which was fun. #AoS #OBR

Grey, white, and red Warhammer skeleton cavalry line up to fight blood elves of Morathi-Khaine. They failed all their charge rolls and were beaten to death.

Grey, white, and red Warhammer skeleton cavalry line up to fight the Cities of Sigmar. They failed all their much easier charge rolls and slugged it out to a loss.

Grey, white, and red Warhammer skeleton cavalry fight their way to Talia Vedra and the hated cannon. The Liege-Mortek was able to get his archers to shoot into the horse combat, blasting many away.

Game 3, the Liege-Kavalos Hathanat fights another incarnation of Morathi, both fighters on dwindling wounds. Though she is not able to finish the job herself, Hathanat’s loyal warriors gladly give a false goddess’s bones to their mortisan priests. The Stalkers built from these remains will be fearsome indeed. (Actually won this game.)

Played my first games of Age of Sigmar yesterday with my Soulblight (vampires and skeletons). Got my butt kicked 2/3 times and learned alot. I’m a big fan of cavalry but not so good at positioning them to not get charged.

Orange Orks clash in Turn 1 meele combat with my skeletons, a fight that will not end for the entire game as an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.

Prince Vhordrai riding an undead dragon advances to midfield to meet the dragon brothers Krondys and Karzai. Karzai slaughters him in a terrifying one round of combat from full health.

The Soulblight charge into the braced Cities of Sigmar and the slaughter is tremendous. I win by running out of time.
